An oasis of indulgence located in the hot Mojave Desert. With its hypnotic neon-lights, mind-blowing shows, and high levels of luxury – there are few places quite as seductive as Las Vegas.

This city may be known as the world’s casino capital, but there’s so much more to this place than appears at first glance. Look past the veneer of gambling and wild partying, and you’ll realise that there are endless fun activities for families, couples, and groups of friends alike.
Take flight in a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, watch gravity-defying circus shows, see A-list entertainers perform, and take moonlit strolls under the lights and ballet of the Bellagio Fountains. Cruise the Strip
Nothing beats cruising into Vegas for the first time behind the wheel of a classic American car. For an extra ‘wow,’ try rolling down the strip at night to see the ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign and the 4-mile section of Las Vegas Boulevard – known as ‘The Strip’ – in their full glory. Take in the Bellagio’s dancing fountains, the Mirage’s erupting volcano, and the Stratosphere Tower’s gleaming beacon as you coast through the heart of Sin City.
Catch a Show
Nowhere can lay claim to being the home of world-class entertainment quite like Vegas. The city has become synonymous with some of the best shows to grace the stage down the years, from Celine Dion to Elton John. Current notable residencies include Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Journey, and Aerosmith – although the hottest ticket in town remains Cirque du Soleil with its jaw-dropping acrobatics and exotic dance.
Take a Golden Eagle Air Tour
Looking to see the Grand Canyon but short on time? This speedy out-and-back tour leaving from Boulder City will take you on a flyover past Lake Mead and Hoover Dam on your way to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. You’ll be back in your Vegas hotel within four hours in time to put in a few hours by the pool or playing cards down the casino.
World’s Best Swimming Pools
Don’t let the sheer number of incredible hotel pools stop you from attempting to take a swim in each one during your stay. Mandalay Bay is as good a place as any to start, having upped the ante in its quest to be crowned the best resort swimming pool in Vegas. When you see the imported Californian sand, artificial 6-foot wave pool, ‘beachfront’ casino, and lazy river, you’ll understand. You can also unwind at many of the city’s pool-bar like those at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic, Encore’s Beach Club, or Caesar Palace’s Garden of Gods.
Climb the Stratosphere Tower
There’s no better place for a birds-eye view of this oasis in the desert than atop the three-legged Stratosphere. Ride the country’s fastest elevator to the observation deck (896ft) for a sunset cocktail or ride one of this vertical metropolis’ thrill rides at night. Those with a strong stomach can join in with others with a few loose screws and take the plunge off the side of the building in a SkyJump free-fall.
